CABLE CARE

Take care of the connection.

A well-made cable should work hard for a very long time. A little attention to how you handle it can extend that life considerably:

• Allow the cable to follow its natural lay when coiling it. Avoid tight loops, knots, sharp bends, and repeated twisting. When disconnecting, grip the connector rather than pulling on the cable itself.

• Keep connectors clean and dry. Avoid prolonged exposure to excessive heat, moisture, chemicals, or environments where the cable may be crushed beneath equipment, road cases, furniture, or vehicles.

• For touring and studio use, loosely coil the cable after each session and store it where the connectors are protected from impact. Periodically inspect the cable and connector assemblies for unusual wear, looseness, or damage.

• Professional equipment lasts longest when it is treated like professional equipment.

Asterope products are backed by our Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, subject to the terms of the warranty. If you ever experience a problem, contact us.
